Navigating Faithfully
Choosing The Happy Place
Happy New Year, friends. Reader warning: The end of this update will include an insufferable number of Disney World photos. We will get to that later, but you've been warned.

'Tis the Season
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month. It is not lost on me that we share this month with Thanksgiving and thoughts of gratitude, which I have: a heart full of gratitude

Your Caps Lock is On
Fear tries to overshadow faith, but my Father picks me up, like He always has, and whispers, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” Mark 5:34

Seeking Joy: Update
Thank you, Jesus, for your continued healing hand, for carrying me when I can’t quite take the step, and for holding my hand and walking with me through this life.
Jesus, you are who you say you are. The bible is filled with God’s truth. Those who belong to Him can have confidence in His protection.

Seeking Joy
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4, 6-7

Hilltop View
“Faith enables the believing soul to treat the future as present and the invisible as seen.”
J. Oswald Sanders

Give Thanks
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Psalm 28:7

Back to That Place II: The Update.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:9

Back to That Place
And with one scan and one conversation, I am back to that place. That place is the most brutal palace I’ve ever visited, where fear reigns, and my faith and hope struggle for a breath within me.

Grattitude
Thank you, God, for continuing to heal my body. Thank you, God, for blessing me with a beautiful, chaotic, exhausting summer; I pray that so many more follow.
Thank you for authoring such a beautiful story in our lives.
